The elves tried to live peacefully with their threatening neighbors by giving up large tracts of land in exchange for cooperation, peace, and established borders. The orcs, trolls, and goblins continued to attack the borders of the elves often killing innocent farmers and hunters of the elfin community and seizing more and more of the elfin territory. To make matters worse, for the last 2,000 years the elfin women have been having trouble getting pregnant, less than half have children and having a second child was extremely rare. So the number of elves was slowly dwindling and the population of their enemies was mushrooming among the goblins, trolls, and orcs. The territory of the enemy was also expanding and threatening the domain of the elves as well as the dwarves and men that the elves helped protect.A timely meteorite leaves a liquid pool in the elfin territory. This pool turns wooden arrows into silver shafts of great destruction, hard as metal, light as wood, and able to pierce twice the depth through flesh. A wooden sumac sword dipped in quicksilver becomes a silver slayer of trolls, goblins, and orcs. But will this new technology be enough to keep the elfin community safe?Learn the secrets of the elves that have enabled them to maintain a civilization that put honor, decency, and the respect for others above self seeking goals of glory. Stand in awe as the elves fight off enemies twice their size or outnumber them five to one. Be astonished as the legendary warriors- Styrax the Slayer, Hemlock the Valiant, and Val-Talon perform feats that will be put to song, repeated at taverns, and rehearsed at campfires for centuries to come. Can the elves keep the enemies from the quicksilver pool? Will the quicksilver be enough to tip the scales in favor of the elves in the upcoming war that plies four hostile races against the outnumbered elves? Will the troll prophesy be fulfilled? The dwarves come to help the elves, why dont the humans? And finally meet the “tetras,” one of the most dangerous species in the forest. Why do the orcs and goblins fear the tetra’s and why would the tetra’s assassinate an elf while out on surveillance?
